Anti-wrinkle treatment relaxes the small muscles that cause expression lines, usually the forehead, between the brows and crow's feet around the eyes. We use prescription botulinum toxin, dosed conservatively, in the smallest number of areas that meets the brief. The aim is to look rested, not blank. First-time clients are often surprised at how little is needed. We'd rather build up over two appointments than overshoot once. Results begin to appear in 3 to 5 days and settle by day fourteen.

Before your appointment
- Avoid alcohol and ibuprofen for 24 hours before
- Skip strenuous gym sessions on the day of treatment
- Don't book treatment within two weeks of a major event. Let it settle.
Aftercare
- Stay upright for four hours afterwards. No lying down or bending forward.
- No heavy exercise, sauna or hot yoga for 24 hours
- Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas for 24 hours
- Full effect at day 14. Judge the result then, not before.

Will I look frozen?
No. We dose conservatively and treat only the areas you ask about. Expression (smiling, raising your brows when you laugh) should still be there. A frozen look comes from overdosing or treating too many areas at once.
When will I see results?
Most people see softening from day 3 to day 5. The full effect is in by day 14. If anything looks asymmetric or under-treated at the two-week review, we top up free of charge.
How long does anti-wrinkle last?
3 to 4 months is typical for a first-time client. With repeat treatments at the right interval, the muscles learn the rest and many clients stretch to 4 or 5 months between sessions.
Does it hurt?
The needle is very fine and the injections are quick. Most clients describe it as a small pinch. There's no numbing cream needed.
Can I have anti-wrinkle treatment if I have an event next week?
We'd rather not. The result peaks at two weeks. For a wedding, photoshoot or important event, book three weeks ahead minimum so the treatment is fully settled.
What if I don't like the result?
Anti-wrinkle is temporary. It wears off completely in 3 to 4 months. There's no way to actively reverse it, but the natural breakdown means any concerns resolve on their own.
